Fight From Above
Back when I was in film school I met writer and musician David Schechtman. We were had a few classes together and hit it off really early on. He told me he was in a band, Fight From Above, and I said I’d love to shoot their next show. They were playing at The Whiskey on Sunset Blvd so I knew I was in for at least a well lit show!
They were amazing. Instead of the normal college alt-rock garage band sound they came out with a fresh, light, and energetic set. I was instantly hooked.
Fast forward two years and I find myself shooting the band from Alvera Street, Santa Monica Boardwalk, to the roof of a downtown highrise. In the short time I have known the guys they have fought for every inch and they show no signs of slowing down.
