Electric Daisy Carnival

I have shot the Coachella Valley Music Festival for the past few years and that is an experience unto itself.  To cover the Electric Daisy Carnival, festival that occupies the entire Los Angeles Colosseum and spills out into the courtyards with carnival rides, including a full sized ferris wheel, was a challenge to say the least.

With over 90,000 in attendance the entire complex was alive.  The field became a sea of bodies and lights while the stands turned into cities in the distance, all the while the loudest music I’ve ever heard was pouring out of the main stage.  A truly memorable night, I was on stage while Kaskade was playing his set and for those few minutes I had a taste of what it must be like to be the focal point of so much chaos.
